As a church we endeavour to fulfil our mission statement ‘to take the love of the living Lord Jesus to all people in our community so that they too may come to worship God’. This is done sometimes through the things we offer locally – lifts to and from church, monthly Friendship Circle afternoons for those who are of more advanced years; children and youth work; school assemblies and services at Christmas, Easter and Harvest.

Further afield we regularly help and support other charities and needy causes including: Maidstone Homeless Care, The Children’s Society, Trinity Foyer, Royal British Legion, The Centre For the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed in Bangladesh, International Needs – with particular links with an eye hospital in India; Smiles – which works among the Romania gypsy community, Open Doors (helping persecuted Christians throughout the world). We have links with the administrator in The Hope Centre in Swaziland and with the Hands of Compassion School in Zambia. Throughout the year there are often special collections for other needy causes as and when needs arise.
